Gokyo Lake and Renjo La Pass trekking are the most popular, challenging, and amazing trekking in the Everest region of Nepal. The journey to Gokyo Lake Trek is a classic Himalayan detour to explore nature and culture in Solukhumbu, Nepal. Gokyo Lake, sandwiched between Renjo La and Chola Pass, is trekking with Mt. Choyou on the backdrop of Gokyo Lake, also known as Dhud Kund. The trails follow upwards to Phakding on the bank of the Dhudkosi River, which is coming from Gokyo Lake. After reaching the town of Namche Bazaar, the trekkers take a different route than the Everest base camp trek through a green, lush forest to reach Gokyo Lake. After crossing the Renjo La pass, you can see the valley landscape and the local Sherpa people in Thame village.
