Nagarkot is the perfect place for short and quite nice hiking for those people, even though they don’t have a good enough time. Nagarkot lies on the northeast hillside of the Kathmandu Valley, which is about 32 km away from Kathmandu. It is the best viewpoint to see the mesmerizing views of the sunset, sunrise, landscape, and the Himalayas range, such as Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Langsisa, Gauri Shankar, and Mt. Everest, in the east direction. You will have a chance to get experiences to see the typical lifestyle of the people in the village of Sakhu, life found in the foothills of the mighty Himalayas. The Nagarkot hiking trail is quite easy, but exciting nonetheless.

We are always happy to make a short hike for those who have limited time in Nepal and would like a one-day or two-day hike. This is perfect for you. From Nagarkot, you can see a panorama view of Mt. Everest in the east Himalayan range Try to bring some binoculars for the best view of Everest! We will be far from the noise of Nagarkot for the day.

Basic Information

Early morning guide and drier pick up from the hotel and drop-off to Sankhu village.
You are going to hike up to Nagarkot Hill.
After that drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel trip ends.
